Playa del Risco
Is one of the most quiet beaches on the island due to its difficult access - by boat from Orzola or Graciosa or by walking down the Famara cliffs. The beach has invaluable historic importance due the presence of Las Salinas del Rio, the oldest salt flats of the island, which are nowadays closed. It is also an archeological site of prehistoric remains. Please bring enough water and food as the beach does not have any restaurants.
Caletón Blanco
Which
means creek in Spanish, is situated close to órzola, and about 500
m. s long and 20 m. s wide. The beach is
of white sand that gives a strong contrast to the black lava rocks
and green bushes. Although in a rural area it has easy access
including by guagua (bus).

the Lanzarote Town
Council (Cabildo).
Los Jameos
Also known as La Caleta is situated just next to Jameos del Agua and very famous for surfing and Windsurfing. The beach is a couple of hundred meters long and due to its proximate reef not very attractive and sometimes even dangerous for swimming.
Playa de la Cantería
Is known as an ideal place to start surfing. The beach is close to the village of Orzola and only accessible over a dirt track.
